This type of massage will calm your nervous system and promote a sense of relaxation and well being, reducing anxiety and tension in the body. Deep tissue is more of a customised massage that works on areas of tightness and tension using deep strokes to target deeper layers of muscles.
Performed on the floor with the client full clothed. It combines acupressures, rocking motions and passive yoga stretches. By allowing energy to flow more freely, it improves circulation and mobility, alleviates problematic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual problems and stress related conditions.
This is an ancient form of massage originated in India. It has tremendous benefits to the mind, body, immune system, nervous system and brings deep nourishment to all the cells and tissues . It involves copious amounts of warm oil and a unique sequence that relaxes and energises at the same time!
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and or swellings.
I use only natural cold press oils and essential oils.
Over the years I developed an understanding of how important is to treat our body only with natural sources, tuning with the surroundings and according to season and body type. I prepare my own infused oils, creams and flower water and use them in my treatments.
