This type of massage will calm your nervous system and promote a sense of relaxation and well being, reducing anxiety and tension in the body. Deep tissue is more of a customised massage that works on areas of tightness and tension using deep strokes to target deeper layers of muscles.

THAI-YOGA MASSAGE

Performed on the floor with the client full clothed. It combines acupressures, rocking motions and passive yoga stretches. By allowing energy to flow more freely, it improves circulation and mobility, alleviates problematic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual problems and stress related conditions.

AYURVEDIC MASSAGE

This is an ancient form of massage originated in India. It has tremendous benefits to the mind, body, immune system, nervous system, helps detoxify the body and brings deep nourishment to all the cells and tissues. The warm oil melts away tensions in the muscles and helps for deeper relaxation.

Herbal oils I prepare and use in treatments:

  • Arnica infused oil, made with almond oil and arnica flowers. Good for bruises, muscle soreness and injured tissues

  • Calendula infused oil, made with almond oil and home grown calendula flowers. Wonderful for all skin irritations

  • Cistus rose infused oil, made with almond oil and cistus ladaniferus (or rock rose). Helps healing wounds, sking irritations, aids the lymphatic circulation and calms the mind

  • Muscle rescue and antiiflammatory oil (comfrey, ginger, rosemary and more)
